  • How do I request Manager Approval?

    For many tuition assistance and tuition reimbursement programs, Manager Approval is a key step to getting your payment. After you submit your courses to for approval, our system will generate an email notification to the manager we have on file for you (as provided by your employer). The manager will already have an account set up under their company email address and will be able to log in to complete your approval from their Home page. Your application will have more specific instructions, if required.
    If the manager we have on file for you is incorrect or there is an error in their email address, please contact ISTS Program Support for assistance.


  • How do I provide a recommendation?

    To ensure that a recommendation is confidential and to facilitate consistent scoring, ISTS provides an online form, like the application, which allows a recommender to enter their recommendation rather than having the applicant upload it.

    If your program requires or allows a recommendation, the application will include a Supplement tab and provide instructions to enter your recommendation provider’s name, email address. An email will be sent to this person immediately from our system with instructions on how to provide the recommendation and what the deadline is for submission.

    You can view your Home page to check the status of the supplement form (REQUESTED, STARTED or COMPLETE).
