Stantec Future Leaders Scholarship

Each year, Stantec awards $200,000 in scholarships to students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, arts/architecture, and mathematics (STEAM) fields. This scholarship is open to students from all backgrounds who demonstrate leadership potential, resilience, and a commitment to shaping a better future.

Online applications will be accepted September 4 – October 2, 2026.

Herb Block Scholarship

Application Period: March 1 – June 1/November 10, 2026

The Herb Block Scholarship provides financial assistance to students of all ages to attend community colleges in the Washington, D.C. metro area. Offered by The Herb Block Foundation, this program helps ~100 students each year gain access to higher education they could not otherwise afford. Applications are due in June for the fall semester and November for spring semester.

Riding Forward Scholarship Contest

Current Application Period: July 1 – September 30, 2026

The 2026 Regions Riding Forward Scholarship Contest invites high school and college students to submit a video essay or traditional written essay on someone they know, someone in their community who has helped them find the confidence to reach higher. Regions is awarding four $8,000 scholarships each Quarter.

Application Period: October 2026 – February 2027

The South Carolina Association of Counties (SCAC) awards 12 $5,000 Board of Directors Scholarships and one $5,000 Presidential Scholarship to graduating high school seniors in counties throughout the state.

Application Period: October 15, 2026 – February 5, 2027

Schwab-Rosenhouse Memorial Scholarship awards scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 per year to graduating high school seniors in the California counties of El Dorado, Placer, Yolo or Sacramento.

Application Period: August 20 – October 20, 2026

The Stephen J. Brady Stop Hunger Scholarship recognizes student leaders creating innovative solutions to end hunger. Recipients receive an academic youth scholarship and a grant to continue their efforts.
