ASPCA Veterinary Scholarship Program

By easing the burden of student debt, the ASPCA Veterinary Scholarship helps future veterinary professionals focus on their education and long-term career goals. In addition to reducing financial barriers to education, the program seeks to strengthen the veterinary talent pipeline, expand access to veterinary care, and cultivate a network of professionals dedicated to making a lasting impact.

This program is open to students who will be enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary or veterinary technician program for the entire 2026–27 academic year (year two or later), hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, demonstrate financial need, and commit to working for at least three (3) years post-graduation in the animal welfare field. Veterinary students may receive up to $33,333 per year, with a maximum total award of $100,000, while veterinary technician students may receive up to $10,000 per year, up to $20,000 total.

Applications must be submitted by March 3, 2026.
