Harvard Extension School

Founded in 1910 and one of Harvard’s 12 degree-granting schools, Harvard Extension School is designed for adult, part-time learners seeking credit-bearing courses, certificates, and degrees. The Extension School offers two degrees, a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Extension Studies (ALB) in 13 fields, a master’s in liberal arts in Extension Studies in 25 fields, and more than 50 graduate certificates and micro certificates in subjects ranging from Data Analytics and Sustainable Finance to American Culture and Literature.
